Cry The closer of teal season

Well guys a little late post, but we ended te teal season with a bang sunday. Had a 4 man limit by 8 sunday out in gc. Only had 2 days hunted where we didn't get a full limit. I'm not sure the count just yet, but when will post when i get it added up. Sunday called in 7 pintails that lit in the decoys talk about a pretty sight. I hope big duck season is just as good or better than teal season.

Seen a good number of spoonies, some greys and sunday quite a few pintails. I was told by a buddy of mine at work that he saw a few specks in thornwell. I'd have to see them for myself, but has anyone else seen any?

Had a great Teal season in Pine Island area too. Saw good numbers of big ducks (grays, pintail and mottles). Glad the skeeters were not as bad this weekend.

We saw a bunch of big ducks all season in ville platte. Opening day saw a greenhead with a bunch of teal, lots of big ducks flying high every hunt, had a big group of 20-25 pintails work into the decoys on the last hunt we made on saturday. Also saw a bunch of squealers the first week and greys the second week

Gonna get sick of killin woodies at our new place. They all but flew into the side of the blind fri and sat. Got a limit in on fri and got killed by a fella with 3 mojo's and huge spread to our south on sat.

Gonna have to bring out the big guns come big duck season and spend some $ on some flappers of my own. (1st season on my own, fwiw, don't hate)

Did well Sat in GC, two man limit. Killed 2 GW teal, first of the year for us--WOW. Sunday however was a different story. Strong south winds and no birds to be seen. Does the south wind enable some of the BWT to fly south to Mexico perhaps??
