Default Throw and Grow

Anyone heard anthing about that throw and grow stuff. I am thinking about using it around my stand because you cant get back there with a tractor or anything like that. What ya'll think about the stuff?

I haven't heard of that, but I've done some reading on the trophy rock, and they all seem positive. I think I'm gonna invest in a couple.

I used some last year and was very impressed with it, we just threw it out right before a rain and came back 2 weeks later with some 13-13-13 and it shot up. If your soil is any good it should do the same for you, good luck.

Default rye grass

That crap is 95% rye grass which you can get at the feed store for 1/3 of the price. I would buy some turnips seeds and some 13-13-13 and you will have better forage and you will even have some turnips for yourself. Nothing like slow cooked shoulder and stewed turip greens. Is it October YET?...in 20 days!!!

FlagUS turnips

I have been telling Matt1118 about turnips and Deer meat, coon, rabbit, squirrel, you get the picture. I like turnips. Most of those plot seeds are mostly rye, or wheat, or oats with other stuff mixed in. Thing is finding something that grows good in shade and usually poor soil. We planted some stuff made by the imperial white tail clover people in the woods and it did great. Can't remimber the name though. Might check on their Web site.
