FlagUS Big Lake 1-22

Tough conditions yesterday, wind was blowin like hell, stirring up the lake pretty good. Eventually found some decent water in the afternoon and made the best of a tough day. Big speck for the day was about 4 1/2 lbs. Had a great day with Kajun Dave and Longcast. Thanks for the memories boys!!! Stickem rods did the trick and the Bait of choice for the day was the xrap, white/chartruese. Gonna try again on tuesday to see what mother nature has in store. Like they, you don't know unless you go!

Waves in the ship channel were huge and the lake wasn't much better. The further south we went the muddier the water got. It was a good day to test out Kajun Dave's new 22' Shearwater. Boat actually did quite well. We stuck it out though. I think we were all in the dog house with the ol ladies, by the time we got home! Gotta love it.

My bad. Lol. Yes I was a little wet after the last wade spot. It really was not a problem. We found some places we could get out of the wind.
