Looked like tons of Pogie. I went after work a few nights ago and the Smell was Unbearable!! I wanted to launch my kayak there so bad but couldn't stomach it. The thought of loading back up in the dark that night was too much. Went north and fished other marshes to no avail.

Wish i woulda known prior to driving 2 hours after work

Lotta Heat, Rain and low oxygen I would assume. Those poor Pogie are sensitive

that ain't good, i had to look again and again, i first thought that was a gravel parking lot and looked like you had a broken fishing pole, that is a whole lot of dead fish, the crabs will be eating good for a while

A date and location for this photograph would be very valuable.

Thanks.

I am wondering how widespread the fish kill might be. We've had some isolated reports, but the ongoing impact depends on the percent of the total estuary that is impacted.
