Default Holly beach or grand isle?

Want to take the wife and kid to the beach for a weekend at either HB or GI...any recommendations on places to stay that won't break the bank. It'll be a Friday to Sunday trip at the end of next month...though GI may be out bc it's the weekend before the tarpon rodeo.

BTW...I'll be bringing my yak to do some fishing.

If those were my choices I wouldn't even be considering HB

Yeah I know...the only problem is the weekend we can go is the weekend before tarpon and most places are already booked up.

South east of Houma. Yes you can wade all over the beach and fish.

if HB means holly beach then might not be that great. was down in that area today. water muddy and grass is super thick and rotting. rolled down window to take picture and smell was horrible from all the dead grass.uploadfromtaptalk1403140120444.jpguploadfromtaptalk1403140120444.jpg
