Default Going Long..

Decided to Pre-fish the Fishing for Memories. Good Thing I did.. After Saturdays good trip.. Thought we could at least caught some nice trout..

Was looking for Big Trout.....

8-14 MPH SE wind= River water..and a little chopped... A Bait well full of croaker, finger mullet, and some shrimp....

Got a new $170 custom 7' castnet..
Went to the East.. Bad Decision.. Ran west... Bad Move..

Found good water at only one wellhead...

River Water EVERYWHERE from 5' out to 22'............ 106 miles round trip...

Result= 1 trout.

Will be headed to BL for 3 days of the tournament..

Yeah, I have been watching winds, weather and sat images all week. It seems to be changing daily but fresh water still coming out. May have to give it a few more days.

I'll be heading to VB around 10 tomorrow morning with the kids to enjoy a day on the water. We don't plan on putting out a big effort, but I'll report back on conditions.

Salinity has taken a big nosedive in the last 2 days, river rising again. It had looked like it had topped out, but rose a foot and looks like a few more days before it starts heading down again.
