Default Your Go-To Bass Lure

For late winter/early spring?

It's cold, it's warm, fronts blow through right when it starts looking good, what's your go to?

I always have at least three rods in the boat. One with a spinner bait, one with a crank bait, and one setup for a weightless soft plastic.

Swap colors and presentation till' things get dialed in, if possible ...

9 out of 10 times I end the day with plastics ...

I throw a Big Bite Bait Yo Daddy on 20lb Sunline flouro. In January I tend to throw okachobee craw. Once the water warms up to 53-55 I throw Green Pumpkin and start dying the ends of the pinchers. I target wood and isolated grass that breaks the surface.
