Lower Amite River at it's intersection with the Diversion Canal. Nightcrawlers and hot dogs did the work.

I'm thinking about doing some jugs but never have before. Do they end up far away?

It depends if you put an anchor weight on them or not. I run mine with a railroad spike for an anchor because there's a lot of current in the marsh where I run at. Even though there's an anchor, the hyacinth will still take them for a ride if there's some there.

I was thinking about doing it right off the Mermentau. I'll look into finding some weights
