That Zink PH-2 I have takes very little air to blow and sounds great when you get used to it. I listened to those recordings again and they do sound a little to high. Hopefully they can fix em up.

I'm gona get me a wood speck call next year from them. I blew one and it sounds amazing. I love my poly, but the wood has a more clear sound with a great pitch.

Your old DR85 may be cracked and you're losing air. They tend to have that problem when they're old.

There is a distinct pitch btw the two... I was complimenting the riceland on the amount of air it takes.

when checking out the reeds in both the ricelands you can see a length and cut difference. One sounds great. the other hiiiiiiggghhh.

Uh, speaking of GC.....Your front marsh is tic tic with ducks Chris! Just got a call from my hunting partner who went out in the marsh to put out dekes. He says it looks like a convention in the front ponds. Go get 'em!

Gotta work all this weekend...and next....won't hunt till after Christmas. Nature of my business. Good luck out there guys!
