Default What a Week!

5th trip in a row that we have finished up with our limit. 3 at Big Lake and 2 at Vermilion Bay. Ozzie (not Ozborne) and I decided to hit Big Lake despite the 10 to 15 mph wind forecast. Got out and the winds were blowing about 5-8mph. Stayed that way for the morning then picked up about noon. Started in Turners but the birds were skiddish. Decided to make a run to the south end then a right turn into West Cove. Fished most of our limit under Liar Birds. That's right Liar birds. When we would see the Liars circle we drifted into them and would pick up a few here and there. We caught most with the tsunami swim bait (black back). I love those things. What a way to end a great week of fishing. Now it's back to school for me (teacher). The three top reasons that I teach: June, July, and the holidays!

Nice haul dude. Swim baits are one of my favorite baits.

Nice meat haul! And thanks to you for the job you do with our kids. Teachers are not appreciated enough. I hope you share your stories with your students and influence them to the outdoors.....
