Cheers Trout On Fire 12-12-2011

Capt Chris Venable and I jumped on board with Capt Joel Wakeland for a mid day scouting trip. Our first stop found the bite super slow only picking up about 18 fish. Second stop found about 6 trout. Our third and final stop is where we hit the mother load as we had the big yellow mouths coming in one after another!!! We left the fish biting every to every other cast. The bite remains on fire, with Trout being caught up to 19 inch's almost everyday. Swimbaits tightlined slowly on bottom is the ticket to filing your box.
Good luck fishing

Yeah looked like a blast me and my buddy are dragging the boat down there this morning. Think we'll try fishing in the marsh around bayou sauveur area. The trout have been hanging in the middle of the canal or more towards the sides ?

Default T & F

T&F just seeing your question on here, check your PM's. Think I sent you that yesterday. Good job yesterday for being the first time in that area, most people probably would of scratched.
