Default Sweet Corn Tip

Wanted to share a way to put up sweet corn that is very easy since my yearly supply will be arriving sunday. For ten years my dad has had his farmer plant 5 acres of G-90 so bringing a couple hundred ears home hasn't been a problem but putting it up has until we started freezing the ears in the husk. Cut each end leaving enough on the picked end to hold the husk and stack in your freezer. I have eaten corn stored up to a year like this and there is no freezer burn and the silk comes off more easily after it has been frozen.

She is leaving this morning but only plans to bring back 200 ears. Thought about taking an order online to help offset fuel cost but plan to fish Friday and Saturday.
