I understand your point..........

But my bucks go to what last for me..........I haven't "Had" to buy a reel in years
If you actually read my posts, I knew they all were made overseas and that wasn't what I was worried about, I was more worried about stimulating on a local level by purchasing from a company that was based closer to home.

Who cares where the reel is made

Shimano is the Micheal Jordan of fishing reels!! For a quality you can buy cheaper reels that had a good showing for a little while but proven time shows Shamino is the King

Its like a Honda 4wheeler... others may be faster, bigger or do fancy things but in 15 years that Honda is still running!!

If you want top quality reels use Shimnao

If you want lower class lesser proven use what ever you want

Lews might make a great reel but Mowhawk makes a good tire but its not Goodyear!!

Anyone care to send me a Shimano for field testing? I'll need it for at least 2-3 years

Next question...

If you could only take one bait caster when you hit the water, which would it be? Make and model, and why.

I will, and it will be from the smallest store in Broussard. Right next to the boudin balls and swisher sweets, lmao

Don't get the new G series curados. Get the Chronarch 50e.

Anyone try the demo feature on tackle warehouse.com? Select 4 reels, pay shipping and keep them for a week.

Might wanna call the hook up tackle tomorrow for their black friday sale. I think shimano and daiwa will be 30% off. They are located in Arizona and offer free shipping.
