Default Grand Isle

Planning to take a vacation in Grand Isle around the end of July and was wondering if any of you guys had any recomended places to stay was thinking about a camp from century 21 but not liking there prices to much was thinking of Wateredge Beach Resort, Sun & Sand Cabins, Cajun Tide Beach Resort, or Bridge Side. If anybody has stayed at any of these places would you stay again and which one would you recomend. Taking the family wife, daughter 16, and son 20. Planning on fishing, beach time, surf fishing and hopefully some night time fishing, and some crabbing. Dont have a boat but planning on renting a boat or a charter one. Thanks

Camp laid back is a nice camp it is on the left side of the road not on the beach but the beach access is right across the street...and the prices are reasonable

Do not quote me on this statement. I think I seen some of the guys that post daily on here. One of them mention that the Tarpon Rodeo is around that time. I have never been to GI at the same time of the Tarpon Rodeo but it's pack. Something to check into. Have a good trip!

good point... If you are coming with the family you should avoid the tarpon rodeo weekend. Its not family friendly

Default rental

try grandislerentals.com, prices are reasonable and the places are pretty clean, availability may be an issue though

Try the cajun holiday motel. 2 br 1 bath kitchenette rooms or full camps on the water.
It's where i stay when going to GI.

I just booked one at the blue dolphin for Memorial Day. Wasn't a bad price. Looks bare bones but hell that's all I need.
