Default Push of new birds?

Do we see one with all of this cold weather? I'm not too optimistic at this point.

We saw a GOOD push of mallards! Most mallards we have seen all season. Flight birds(migraters) but still a good push

Nope not in my area near white lake. North winds blew the Blue Wings out and since then the sky has been virtually empty. Worst number of birds I've seen in 35 years if hunting.

Hunted in GC Thursday afternoon and Friday morning, it really sucked. Just didn't have the numbers and froze my toes for two teal.

South of Kaplan this is our worse year in the past 5-6 years. Over the past 3 years, we normally kill on average of 50 mallards a year and this year only 4. Also, we normally shoot 20-30 mottle ducks and we only have killed 1. Through out the season I have not seen the traffic of ducks (sky high or even medium height) flying over our general area. Pretty much everyone around us is just as bad or worse! To summarize my season so far, opening morning we kill a 5 man limit and next day we kill a 1 man limit.

I am ready for the 2014 season to start...lol

Haven't killed a single duck on our farm this year. Luckily the geese have been around. And the lack of duck hunters may keep them calmer and around longer.

We didn't do much this morn. They were thick like bees last weekend and this weekend it's a struggle. Story of the year. I'm thinking tomorrow morn won't be much different as the front won't show up till the afternoon. I know where I'll be Monday though!
