Default Bait Traps... Legal?

Will be heading to Venice from East Texas on 22 October.
Will have my NR Saltwater and Freshwater licenses.

Planning to bring a couple 30"x30"x30" pinfishfish traps. Hope to use then to catch some crokers for bait.

Any other special license/permit needed to use these?

Don't think they need any special licensing. Most likely just need to be tagged with your info. Your better off just cast netting mullet.
