Default new kayak

Just got a kayak this week and im thinking about taking it to cypremort point on Monday. Has anyone fished the bay lately? Any suggestions?

I fish the point in my hobie pro angler, stay away from this area when windy, trust me. However if you put in at the public beach at the end, you could go into shark bayou ver y easily.

Also try the mouth of shark bayou closer to the seawall,there is a nice drop off right there.

I talked to a few guys at work they have been catching some trout here and there in the cove and trash pile area. My uncle went to the mouth of the avery sat morning and caught 10 reds in 20 mins. Is the hwy through lydia still closed?
