Man i busted my but this past week. hunting an average of 9-10 hours each day. pulled one all day hunt. The deer in Ark just aint got into the rut yet. We saw a few trailing but none really chaising. I ended up with 2 does. Im sure the rut will be on by this weekend and of course i cant go. The all day sit wasnt too bad, i didnt see anythig till 2pm and ended up shootin a doe at 430. Good luck to ya, hope ya get a big un

Boy Montauk17 you can say that again about the weather as it was 27 friday morning and by sat afternoon it was in the mid 70s also the low for sat night was only in the low 60s. I am going back up to our camp next week as it looks like the weather will straighten out some.

I've killed deer and still dont care for it. Killin the deer was fun but im like bob, boring in a stand so i sleep or enjoy some cold beerz. Im more of the guy that will go help do the work at a lease and enjoy that more than an actual deer hunt. I think dare smell the "death" on me as I have made 8 west texas hunts and never had the first deer walk out on me but yet my dad shot 2 does 30 minutes apart!
