Default Running with da bulls GI 2/17/2013

Fished GI yesterday sitting in the pass for bulls with Reel Screamers on my son's 12 birthday. The final count was 9 bull drum and this monster 44" bull redfish. Don at Reel Screamers was great with the children and the fish were cooperative, hitting reliably on cracked crab. My son was pumped up on adrenaline for a while. The dolphins also came to play and feed on the scraps as we cleaned the fish at the marina. Bergers at Jo-Bobs capped off an awesome afternoon and the children also enjoyed the seafood gumbo at TYDS on the drive in. The drum were remarkably good looking and the meat looked great.

I appreciate all the tips and advice shown by folks at Salty Cajun as we were planning the trip. You all helped me provide a great fishing trip for my son's twelfth birthday.
