Rumor out of baton rouge from a board member is....LSU has contacted Josh McDaniel and John Gruden...and with sending letters to have permission to speak to a few other head coaches.... I'm sure this is just protocol back up plan

Don't let the door hit you in the a??Miles. I have to admit I never have liked Les and I think if he leaves it may be good for LSU in the long run if they can find a qualified coach to replace him. I happen to like Pelini but Gruden would be good also.

From Dandy Don's website: http://www.dandydon.com/

It has been confirmed that LSU officially held a late-night meeting with Miles last night after Miles met with Michigan officials earlier in the day. "LSU officials are talking with Coach Miles," LSU associate athletic director Herb Vincent said Monday night after 10 p.m. "They're trying to keep him."

It is also reported that junior college transfer quarterback Zach Mettenberger has completed LSU's enrollment process and will be a Tiger whether or not Miles stays or leaves. According to a credible report, Zach Mettennerger's father, Bernie Mettenberger, sent a text to Coach Miles to let him know he realizes Miles faces a difficult decision and will have to do what's best for him and his family, but that his son, Zach, stands by his decision to be a Tiger.

I doubt he is as stupid as Cecil Newton, and I bet Mr. Mettenberger is the man that will be managing his son's upcoming professional career making 6 figures answering the phone calls coming into this bad a$$ quarterback! He will play at LSU and use it as a stepping stone to his multi-million dollar contract with one lucky NFL team. Do you see the big picture? SEC- bigtime TV coverage, team that needs a QB and has a home field that holds >90K people.......Yep, he got his money coming!!!!!
