The Roux (Cooking/BBQ/Recipes) What good is a cajun site without a cooking and recipe forum?

Default best recipe for electric smoker

I have a masterbuilt 30" and looking for some good recipes. i'm looking to use it tomorrow for a serving of 4 people, and looking for the best recipes out there.
Also dumb question, when a recipe says smoke until internal temp reaches "x" degrees, approx 5 hrs, does this mean actual smoke the whole time, or to eventually let the smoke run out and let the heat w/o smoke finish the cooking off?

lets see your recipe, and want to try a recipe tomorrow.

These folks all gave you the same advice i did in PM . It's kinda like fishing ,there's only so much info i can give ya w/o standing by your smoker drinking your beer. LOL just give it a go . keep a log of what you do each time and once you get it how YOU like it then yopu can do it every time. BTW. allways keep the exhaust vent fully open on the mes unless you are doing a preheat.
