Default Interesting historical video of Lake Charles

I always enjoy seeing old pictures of Lake Charles and being able to look at the town in its younger years. A friend of mine posted a video so I figured I would share. Its pretty cool seeing things how they used to be. I'm an 80's baby so I don't remember Lake Charles being a whole lot more than what it is now but I do remember when Nelson Rd. was 2 lanes along with gulf hwy being a crappy road and a few other things like dairy queen on prien lake rd and Bruce Hamilton on tv in the mornings. It would have been pretty cool to be around in the 50's and still be alive now, to be able to see the progression of the city.

Anyone got any old boat/fishing pictures of "back in the day"
