Default Shimano rod warranty?

I have a shimano Claris and I broke it the other day on a hook set. I know last year shimano pretty much changed up all their rods and I'm guessing that they don't have the same rod now. My question is do they still warranty it even though they've changed the make?

I had a broke convergence that I couldnt get replaced due to out of stock from the Tsunami. After about 2 weeks of checking back with LCT they said I could upgrade to the next rod up and just pay the difference ($20). Maybe you can do something likr that if they dont have the same rod.

Yes they will swap it out as long as there is no price difference if there is a price difference you just pay that, new shimanos are pretty sweet, check out the compre and crucial and upgrade
Good luck

Yeh I'm going to scoop up another Duce or 2 but I have to many rods that just don't get used
Between my Waterloos and Duces is mainly what I throw

Not very good. We only caught 10 but most of them were decent trout. Two of them were just shy of 4lbs. Y'all?

The Shimano over the counter warranty is good. I had a friend break my Calcutta rod this weekend and since it is not made any longer they swapped it out for a Crucial.
