I have the 18' side console with a 115. I bought it new in 2000, and it has held up really well. I do not baby it by any means. It takes 2'-3' waves better than the alweld and express side consoles. It is not a dry riding boat though. They may have changed over the years, and if you are looking for a center console they may ride different. Great boat in my opinion.

Great boats, built like tanks. I would max out the hp though.

Seamark boats
I have the 1548 model and have to have it rewelded near the bow every year because he welds break. Dealer said they see that alot its a design flaw.

it's a great boat. if u beat it up in the bay alot you will need to keep a eye on the welds, but that is easily fixed by a competent welder.
the good thing about these boats is you can cut and weld and add/remove anything u want to and it's not a big deal. |

They have a great reputation. Stay away from the dealer in Lafayette
