Default V bay 10/9

The water is still muddy; however, the shrimp are popping and birds are working. Numbers aren't astounding but they are all nice sized. Finished with 14 and a few fat Sandys worth keeping. Good day. Worked birds with the same guys for a few hours and they were fun. Always cool when folks work together.

17 Alumacraft 75 Etec. We had a young guy in an old flat, 2 boats with some older Gentleman and one big bay boat. There was one guy earlier in a Champion that must have owned some of Weeks Bay. Only thing I could think of to justify his maneuvering. LOL

yea i noticed there alot of little jelly fish swimming around in the bay and ofc its salty more than before due to low level of freshwater and there is more sting rays caught closer to the state park beach. so salt water is pushing in and out ....

We went yesterday and they birds were working pretty good but every time we would hit a nice flock, here came the amateurs running wide open and hacking up the fishing. We did hit one spot where the birds were and had it all to ourselves and turned out some good numbers. We saw a few idiots running right through the birds wide open..what is it with these people!! All in all it was a good day..about 15 total..white trout and specks. Couldn't have asked for better weather.

hey tha is so v-bay there will be crazy people or people that does not care at all or people that have no idea how to fish. so be prepared cux it will be like that for years and years to come. all u can do is do ur best to find ur birds and catch wha u can before it become a feeding ground for the potlickers. other than that learn ur areas and u will have good results or bad. there no promises in v bay.

Thanks man..yea the potlickers were ridiculous! On a funnier note, we did see a husband hit his wife in the head with the boat while she was trying to hook it to the trailer. She was trying to hook it..at which time he gave the engine one more good rev to get on the trailer and POP! I know i shouldn't have laughed at this but when she started screaming at him it was funny as hell! A new phrase was coined at that moment..she got BOW SLAPPED!
