Default Holland & Holland shotguns

Just watched a segment on their firearms on "How It's Made." Amazing hand made firearms!!!

I'd hate to know what they cost though! At around 1000 hrs labor per unit, it must be high! They state that if you order one, it will take nearly two years before you receive it!

Umm, more like unfinished bolt action rifle with wood stock for 40k+, no telling what finishing cost. The wood stock bolt actions value drop worst than a used car, a wooden stock 2nd hand is around 20k. If you want something that will hold its value you need to look at the 100k+ guns.

Best bet if you do actually buy one is to purchase a used one made for someone well known. This is all a game in what ifs though, because I don't think anyone reading this will drop 180k on a Holland and Holland for investment purposes, that person was banned.

Amazing craftsmen they have working there! You're right, winning powerball ticket in hand and, I still wouldn't own one! I'll stick with my Mossberg! LOL!

If I had a winning powerball ticket in hand I would buy everything that could Rock N Roll before I bought one of those.
