Default shooting eye

I shoot right handed, but with my left eye. Have since I was 4 or 5.

Problem is going blind in left eye, anyone ever changed eyes? And how hard is it to switch and be a good shot still??

It can be done. Eye patch over dominant eye and lots of time and ammo.
start w/ pistol. Draw and dry fire to get muscle /memory working on right eye. then start shouldering long gun and doing same thing. Then go to live fire.

I'll have to give thy a shot. I'm right handed and left eye dominate. When I shoot pistols I'll adjust the pistol so that its more in front of my left eye. The instructor at a pistol class I took did this and showed me. It really increases my accuracy with pistols, but I still haven't parlayed that into long guns. I'm still struggling with them.

If you don't like the feel of the eyepatch, you can spray paint the lens of a pair of glasses too. It takes some practice, but you can learn to shoot with both eyes open also. That way you can get that unburned powder in both eyes.lol
