Well Abbeville did get Lots of rain.. But went check out a few honey holes ricefield canals So. Of Abbeville not that much water was moving...... First stop.. Never left until they would NOT Bite..

Picked up 15 Nice Sac's on blu/wht jigs with a crappie niblet..

Caught about 6-7 with a cork at about 10-12".... Dropped down to about 18".

Caught the rest.. all in > 30 minutes.. No bad for bank fishing...

What does this canal drain that's it's got big white perch? All the canals here have is gar, chouoique, and polliwogs. lol

hammers for ricefield canals, the ones here have them, but never pulled up to one and caught 15 QUALITY white perch

Been averaging about 12-15 a trip.. Try find clean water and get on the banks to spawn.

Not bad from fishing off the sides of the roads.. for an hr or so..

This one spot has produced about 50 SAC's total since rain started couple weeks ago..
