Default Rain

Check this out. I think they are calling it a Tropical wave. I guess we will see if this forecast is right.

From NOAA-

Heavy rainfall will definitely be a threat from this system. Rainfall chances increase significantly beginning Thursday with a 30-40% chance of rain. Friday through Sunday, expect even higher coverage with 50% to 70% chances of rain throughout the area.

The area of highest risk currently appears to be along the southeast Louisiana coast. However, this will depend greatly on the actual track that this system takes. It is too soon to really narrow down the rainfall ranges, but based on the 5 day forecast from HPC, rainfall totals of 5 to 9 inches will be possible along coastal areas, decreasing farther inland.
