Dularge Trout Bite!
A great morning to fish with calm seas on the DU! I jumped in the big Skeeter with Capt Marty LaCoste as we headed south to scout a few areas. Didn't take long to find some decent fish as Marty and I started whacking fish at our first stop. Caught most on swim baits and a nice assortment of larger trout and a few reds on topdogs. We made a few moves looking in different areas and found a good school of fish while working a slick. Marty and I were doubling up as the hungry trout nailed our swimbaits. Finished up at 10:31 am with our 50 fish and headed back to the dock. Good reports of great trout fishing has been reported from Fourchon,Cocodrie, Dulac and Dularge. Looks like the bite is 'ON' and just what we've been waiting for. Good luck fishing.
