What the youngsters going to do when the new law gets signed?
Must have boaters course to operate boat if born after 84 and must have Louisiana drivers license.
also.
Penalties for driving while intoxicated (DWI) now include the suspension or revocation of boating privileges when a person loses driving privileges due to suspension or revocation of their driver's license due to a DWI or DWI refusal whether the offense took place in a vehicle or a watercraft
Must complete boaters course by july 1st 2010

Beginning in July anyone born after January 1st, 1984 must successfully complete a boating safety course before getting behind the controls. And if you don't have a drivers license it is illegal to drive a boat.

The Drivers liscense is Bs with a boat, they couldnt just keep it simple and make everybody pass the boaters ed class

huntin fool 05-09-2010 09:50 AM
