Dularge Trout Fishing
A beautiful day yesterday on the DU. Monte Chapman,his wife Nancy and their son Hunter joined me in search of speckled trout. The gulf was calm and we had to search for clean water. We found what we were looking for but found no fish. Made a few moves and started picking up trout pretty steady on LSU chubs and swim baits. Picked up 40 nice trout and the bite was over. Hit a few more spots with no luck so we started fishing for reds. We hooked up with 15-20 reds keeping a dozen that were greater than 16in. The reds were caught on chartreuse/white spinner baits. Enjoyed my day with the crew and I look forward to their return. Good luck fishing.
