"The Talk"
 

Gotta give My 12yo stepson "The Talk" this weekend.......Any of you have any advise??? I was gonna bring him to Tilted Kilt, but wife said no..........

just be friendly about it...act more like a friend talking to him about than a dad telling him about it....it will make him feel much more comfortable and not as much embarrassment...also chances are he already knows a good deal about it so find out how much he knows first...

Get a book with some scientific pics of the human anatomy and tell him what each part is for. Straight to the point.

I got the "ya just don't do it" talk.
Be honest and make sure he knows that he can talk to you about anything and everything when it comes to sex. Stay away from little side jokes that could end in really embarrassing moments, for the both of you.

he got himself a girlfriend and I've been hearing some stories from his school about other kids........its definatly time, but man its nerve racking........

yea, too late now but I think you should have the talk at a much younger age than when "its time". My parents told me the facts when I was 7 years old. it wasn't awkward for them because it was more sitting down teaching b/c I knew nothing. Where as when you get up in age you already know alot of stuff so it becomes awkward and nerve racking
