the excuse The wild mushroom tea made me do it!

dayum, Drugs are bad, mmmmkay?

So, the mushroom tea elicits another story from Houma, La in the early 80's.

Had a friend named Bart, he was always in the cow pastures near Barrow Extension and Big Bayou Black Road. The cops had picked him up several times for picking mushrooms. We got to Bart's house one day, and all the doors and window were open in the middle of summer. Obviously something was wrong.

We look through the house, and no one is around. Finally, we climb up to his tree house, there's a blanket covering something up. "Crap, he's dead" we thought. So, we pull the blanket off, and Bart is almost dead, but not quite. See, he's under this blanket sitting indian style with a can of gasoline. He's almost unconscious, but still there. We get him off the can, and he starts to come around. After about 30 minutes, we get him down the tree. He explained to us later that he was out of weed and 'shrooms, and just HAD to get high. Pretty sure he died back around 1988 or so.


I had various friends from all walks of life as a kid, and they had varying degrees of respect for the law, other people, and themselves.

wander why they left out the location of where all this happened?

I believe they said it was in CA.

Man that tea never made me see the devil or anything evil. Had a few trees talk to me though!!

i drank some tea a little over a year ago...i really thought i was on my death bed! it was so bad that i ended up calling my mother to come pick me up and take me to the hospital...bad stuff! wont ever mess with it again!

thats just sick man...

why waste time and money to send him to jail? ship his *** to Pakistan give him all the shroom juce he can drink and let him roam around pretending he is on martal combat ripping hearts out like its goin out of style

i drank some when i was younger 1 time and said never again, i did not have to go to the hospital though but i did go hide in the closet and my friend said he was turning into a duck and growing feathers, i never fooled with that crap again.
