hopedale 6-4-10
 

fished hopoedale this morning finding stiff wind out of the south 10-15 with 20 mph gusts, so we couldnt make it out to our usual spots, we fished the marsh and caught 200-250 specks only being able to keep around 25 due to dinkness!! i felt like waltrip dink after dink ! hopes this wind lays down for tomorrow

my bad shoulder hurts from setting the hook 10 times per cast them lil fuggers were so small they couldnt get their mouths around it , then we started throwin topwater at 10-11 am the were smashing it so that was fun

Lol, it's kool. Had a full day. I was told by a source that the fishing in hopedale is now limited to the short rocks, bay eloi and black bay. U cannot go further than pt Lydia on the eloi side and lake machias on black bay side..... Any truth??

true. but you needed a contender to get out there today if you wanted to be comfortable! they had some rollers!.

When you get on dinks like that throw a mirrolure past them and drag it through right along the bottom. Big girls usually hide beneath them and eat the leftovers. Caught some good ones in Hopedale that way while people were corking the dinks

i threw everything , we were just on small fish bottom line and it was too windy to go where we wanted to so we settled for dink hauling , we prolly had 25 fish that were-1 2 lbs the other 200 or so were 8-11 inches

Kinda like girls n a club.... The skinny ones group up and hang together.... Then the big girls hang back, waiting to pounce on some poor rejected fool..... Lol
