To the folks of the local CCA, thanks again for the awesome job everyone did organizing and holding the shootout again this year. This always seems to be a good time for everyone involved. Hope we all have this much fun again next year. Also, I would like to offer one suggestion that may be a good idea for the future. Has anyone ever thought of getting one of the local taxidermist to do donate a replica mount for the winner as part of the 1st place prize. I thought that would be a cool idea and wanted to pass it on.....thanks again for all the hard work and effort everyone put fourth again this year.:)

Thats a great idea, I will try and make it happen for next year. Who does good replicas in the Lake area?

Thanks HH! I can tell you lots of work goes into this one behind the scenes. Derryl, the Tournament Director this year did a great job as well as the rest of the board.

We've floated around the idea of a replica for 1st, but for some reason have never done it. You do win a replica if you win drawing for CPR program.

I spoke to the German's about replica cost last summer and at that time is was running $30 per inch versus low 20's for skin. They do exceptional work but a 30" trout would be right at a Grand.:eek:

Derrryl did a great job with the details as did CMDROST when he was the big Cheeze.
