anyone ever been? i wanna go kick it on the beach, chase women , catch big fish . lemme know some hot spots if any of yall have ever went .

when you plan on going? im interested if your trying to go towards the end of the summer

Went to costa on a cruise last year. Beautiful place. lets put it like this . while i was there i had to find a real estate office.
didn't get to do any fishing but when i retire there it's game on.:cool:

Stayed for a five night all inclusive deal.
We stayed in Hermosa, north west side....right by Playa del coco...where all the party stuff happens.
Absolutely loved it.
Caught black fin tuna and dolphin two hundreds yards off the bank.
we did the cheap and had to go listen to the "hard sell" time share deal.
we stayed at Villa del Sol.
Highly recommend it.

I also got in the the Dominican Republic but we only stayed there for the day while on a cruise. But man they were bringing in 15 lb lobster to cook for us right on the beach, things were still trying to crawl off......

Imperial is the local brew and pretty good in Costa...the local "ticos" are all American freindly......a neat place indeed

i know someone that goes once a month and has really good stories for a 67 year old man. lol if u know what i mean he has a different girl friend everytime he comes back to the states.

Are you going as a married or divorced person? That is the key question and will determine where you need to go. I have been there several times to visit banana and pineapple plantations.

In San Jose go to the Blue Marlin, open 24/7 365, choked full of hotties, New York bar in the Hotel Presidente is awesome.

On the beach on Playa del Coco, check out The Cave. Nothing like drinks and women on vacation. You have made a great choice, do yourself a favor and go.

If you want to stay, there is plenty of new construction you could get your hands into. Most people speak english, there are a couple of concrete companies here in baton rouge that have some operations going on down there. They might be willing to hire a gringo.

If you are setting up a trip and need another fishermsn. i am in. been to los suenos and fishid out of there. I be really ready to go back. if i remember right. fishing on the pacific side picks up between jan. thru june.

Jaco is on the coast, does it have charters/marina? San Jose may be too far away from the coast for us.
