PoP Up
 

Anyone ever fix a pop up camper that does not want to come up in one corner. How troublesome is it to do. It is a 99 model Jayco.

Let's just say this. PAY SOMEBODY ELSE TO FIX IT !!!

Mine is a Starcraft but I suspect that one of the wires that goes from the wench to each corner is broken. I have never had to repair one but it shouldn't be too hard. It's this kind of reasoning that cost me a weekend doing repairs every once in a while. Good luck, how hard can it be? Once you do it, you will know exactly how to do it next time and you can share it with us.

If you hoist that corner up on a big tree limb, you may be able to get inside and troubleshoot it. Just have someone standing by in case it slams shut on you. That would suck...

Yeah you just need a new cable in der.

I make my wife lift the corned that don't want to go up while I crank it up, she says it not too heavy so I may just use it like that and keep putting the 2x4 under it till I can fix it. I also called the camper place today, they said anywhere from 60 to 120 to fix it, I think I'll let them tackle that job if it looks to difficult.
