A Flood Warning is in effect for Iberia, St. Mary, and St. Martin parishes until 1:15pm. Heavy rains totalling up to 7 inches has fallen in these areas this morning. An additional 2-3 inches of rain is expected over the next couple of hours.
There are reports of flooding of streets and ditches in and around Jeanerette and New Iberia. Homes taking on water have been reported in Grand Marais, Lydia, and Olivier in Iberia Parish. More flooding is possible over remaining areas of Acadiana as the rain continues through the day. Heavy downpours are possible again tomorrow and Thursday as additional tropical moisture from the Yucatan moves northward.

halfway down our street the water is over the road, I think a couple of houses might have even gotten water in them.
