Help! Dog hurt

My dog got run over about an hour ago. His back legs were hit. He can stand, kinda, but won't walk and doesn't let us touch them. He is wining and crying a bit and seems swollen a bit in his stomach area. Anyone have any advise?

Good luck guys. Accidents happen

Ok we've got him layer up like a king to rest. His vet said it's a cracked pelvis. She's going to pick him up Monday to work on him. In the meantime he has meds to keep him comfortable and reduce swelling.

Hope your dog makes a full recovery. I feel sorry for your Dad. I can't imagine how bad he feels about the whole thing.

If a dog is run over it is not the fault of the driver, it's the fault of the dog owner. You are responible for that dog. That means it's your responsibility to keep him out of the road and out of harms way.
