any surf reports ?

Anyone try the beaches around cameron or ship channel? Saw the north wind was still blowing wondering if anyone was crazy enough to try with all the bad water reports

My sister says the water on the beaches are still not looking good.
If they was, I would have went this morning.
Guess I will have to wait anudder couple weeks.

Water on the beach east and west of the jetties was terrible. THe jetties were terrible. The rocks down in Johnson's Bayou, were, as I would call them, "barely fishable." That means that I would have probably turned around when I got there.

Find someone who lives close by and get them to check for you before you haul way down there.
That's a long way from anywhere.

Yeh u right. Thats usually why I pull my boat down just in case. But everytime I pull my boat with me, I talk myself out of going to the surf. If we would have left the surf sooner and got to the ship channel earlier we would have done a little better. But the beach was full of shrimp so we cast netted a bunch and tried that before we gave up.
