Great time catching trout and reds with Dr John Stevenson and his brother Paul. Despite our late start we found the trout stacked and hungry at our second stop. We had them coming in the boat 1-2 at a time on our tandem rigged Chubs. Many trout in the two pound range. After finishing up with the trout, we made a drift down a bank hooking up with five reds, then called it a day. HOT HOT HOT out there, thank goodness for the cloud cover we had. Always fun fishing with these guys and look forward to our next trip.
Special thanks to Capt. Joel Wakeland, Capt. Ricky Brondum, and Capt. Gerald Ellender for running the trips last week for me while on vacation.
