Had a awesome day on the lake today thanks to Matt and John Solari. I learned more today than 8 months of fishing on my own. We caught 3 limits of specks and 4 reds. Can't thank them enough.

Bruce, Matt is my dad lol, I took chris and his friend the day before this trip.
Specktater - out of the 45 trout only 10 came from live bait. |

Thats awesome. I havent been able to catch hardly crap on plastics in the lake except topwater. Tried fishing plastics only on Sunday and caught 3 trout and a red. I dont have a livewell on my boat and didnt bring my portable one. Brought it along Tuesday just in case I still couldnt pick them up on plastic. I ended up having to use it. It was my first trip of the year soaking live bait. But hey, u gotta do what u gotta do to put fish in the boat. Only place I can pick up a trout on plastic is the beach. |
