Saltwater barrier with the right conditions. Yes I have one drum in pic , he swallowed the hook deep and dont release fish that are gonna die if they are in the keeper slot.

Nice catch.......but stop fishing "fools" spot.
Last time I was in that area I caught ~ 20 Reds but only 2 or 3 were legal.

I have a couple friends who live on the Lake Charles side of the river by the barrier.
One has a big maroon and white house boat tied up to his dock.

I been over there before , I wonder who owns that land/island thingy you have to go around coming from that way.. It looks like just anyone builds party camps just wherever on it. |
