How did everyone do on opening day?

I ended up hunting in Grand Lake at a buddy of mines.......we ended the day with about 55-60.

We killed almost all ringed neck dove and a few white wing but not a one morning dove.........anybody else have the same outcome? (no morning dove)

Thats all i killed yesterday but i was hunting up in N. LA near Holly Ridge

I killed 3 mourning doves so far in deridder

Im about to go buy a pellet gun and just start plugging the ones in my back yard.

yeah I shoot them right off the powerlines with a bb gun, works for me!

anyone around LP need an extra hunter? I been wanting to go dove hunting, just dont have the place to go

Finished my limit woth mourning doves. Had the magic spot today, they were coming from every which way. This was the best hunt ever

We had over a 100 between the 5 of us sat eve & sun eve will up some pictures tomorrow, 1 ring neck.

out of everybody that was hunting in the fields around us there were probably close to 1000 killed on sat evening...we killed about 40 or 50 between 5 of us but we also stayed out of the really crowded fields. I didnt take any pics cause i left my phone in the truck

Killed my limit sat and sunday out the field by 3each day all white wings and 6morning doves
