What RPM?
Do you need a certin type mounting bracket?
For that size.....guess you are looking for a 220 volt.

we looking for something to run a corn cracker/grinder....its basically a hand grinder for grain with a big pulley....I dont know what phase it would need...its for a friend of mine.. he wants to be able to plug it into a regular receptacle...I guess the biggest size that can be wired to plug into 110volt
|
I got a 110......gomna have to get back to You On rpm....maybe you can make a pulley system for the grinder

Max size on 110 volts would be about 1 hp.
I don't remember how many amps a 1 hp motor would draw. That would depend on how much load it takes to run the grinder. It might be too much load for the breaker to handle.

The one I have is a 1/4hp.....1725rpm......I don't think that'll turn a cracker

You can get up to a 2hp single phase 110v motor for pools an spa's but there 3450 rpms you would have to sheave it down quite a bit for lower rpms...the water well motors I've worked with on 110 will work a lot harder an pull anywhere from 15-22 amps 220 would make it last longer and start up easier, less load for the starter capaciter an gov points...

Anybody need a couple of 3 phase motors? I got two that don't and likely won't use. They are used but if someone here needed em, I'd be willing to turn em loose.
