Thanks! I enjoy foolin' around out there even if I'm not dropping the hammer on something or slinging an arrow at it.

cool vid for sure. Always was a fan of owl watching. I've had them attack bass lures already and nearly had one land in the boat following my ribbit this past spring lol

Thanks! I had an uncle who went bass fishing at Henderson one evening years ago with his son. They were throwing topwater lures. My uncle cast his under a cypress tree, and there was ol' hoot owl watching from a branch. Well, you guessed it. He snatched it up and tried to fly off with it! My uncle had to fight an owl down to the boat! Had eight kinds of hell trying to get him to calm down so they could turn him loose. When they finally did, he flew back to the same tree. About ten minutes later, he got it AGAIN! This time, my cousin pulled off his shirt and covered it, and it calmed him down quickly. When they let him go the second time, he flew away somewhere back in the swamp. He probably had about enough and went off looking for an easier supper, and nursing some sore feet! I bet he thought twice before grabbing any kind of frog, snake, crawfish, or minnow in the water after that.
