What are you looking to downsize to?

Either an 18' or 16' Hewes Redfisher.

I just down sized to an 18' Sterling flats. I love it - easy to handle, easy to pull with the truck and 4-stroke 140hp easy on gas. Just a little wet ride in 2-3 footers if your not taking them straight on.

Great boat for the marsh (9" draft) and just pic your days for the open water.

What's it top out at ??

With me, half a tank of fuel and normal fishing gear it tops out at around 56 mph.

With four guys, full tank and fishing gear it gets up to 50 mph.

I have a four blade Powertech prop on it.

The boat is sold. I miss and regret it already.
