Big thanks to FFF!!

Would like to throw a big thank you out there to FFF. This past friday my BIL shot a nice buck and we could not find it, decided to get in touch with someone with tracking dogs and FFF's name came up, he actually had met my BIL before. We were not able to recover the deer, but there was no blood and FFF's dog searched a large area for us. We had to atleast give it a shot, and thanks to FFF coming to help after work on a friday we were able to say we tried!

Thanks again Brian, it is good to know that there are still people out there who are willing to help others. I can only imagine the feeling from recovering an animal for someone who thought it was lost.

Good luck this weekend on you and your wifes hunt!

When you start running the dogs on those hogs give me a call.

No problem! Enjoyed it and anytime I can help give me a call. I am sitting in a stand right now snaeking in one more hunt before driving back tonight. The bucks started pushing does over the last 2-3 days, so we decided to hunt this afternoon. We have been passing on lots of does, but now it is time for the rut as they are getting wize and very nocturnal up here. May shoot a hog today on the stand I am in, and my wife has homesteaded the stand she saw the 8pt on.

I am pretty confident that deer is going to survive, because looking at the GPS on the laptop, there was not much ground that little dog did not cover! Don't know for sure if the one he jumped up was the same deer, but I was able to find that deers track w/ the dog's paw print and still did not find any blood. We were real close to the other highway when we turned around, like 280 yards from the bridge, so I am pretty sure we gave it enough time to die and he would have winded it if it was dead.
