take 2-10 loop heading into lake charles and then Nelson Rd. exit, walmart on right....

probably easier than getting off in lafayette or BR

Cabela's right off of 10 in Gonzales. Exit 177 and hang a right if heading east. It's right there and they'll take some of your spendin cash too!:*****::*****:

You said anywhere before the MS line, right?

Lake Charles or Lafayette both have Walmart stores that are about the same distance off I-10.

In Lake Charles.....Take I-210 loup to Nelson road exit. Walmart is on same side on I-210. When finished shopping get on I-210 EAST bound. This takes you on the loup back to I-10.

Lafayette.....Get off on I-49 and go south about a mile. Walmart is on the right. Be sure to lock the car doors and look around......This area has been known to not be safe.

If you are taking I-12 Eastward.......Just past Baton Rouge [Denham Springs] there is a Bass Pro store. Not sure what exit, but you can see the store on the right just before you exit.

Thanks, for the input guys. I thought about online, but put it off and leaving Thursday. Besdies If I buy online that eliminates my need to stop at a Fishing Store!!!!!!!!!!

PS At least this thread has not turned into Romper Room.......................

Wal mart in Jennings is right off the I 10, might be easier oh and the fishing department really sucks so that'll save you money

If you go to the Walmart on Nelson Rd. in Lake Charles, park on the North side of the
store and go in the auto section. The Sporting Goods section is right there too. You
don't have to mess with all 4 of the long check out lines at the front and you can
get better parking on the North side.
